This style is also offered in solid Red Oak or MDF board. Your doors are sanded to a 150 grit finish at the factory and require no additional sanding prior to painting. Maple cabinetry is typically painted, though it can be stained quite beautifully. These are true stain-grade doors, with hand-matched panels and no knots or blemishes. Home handymen can easily paint maple, following the instructions included with every order. However because of its tight grain, staining maple requires some skill and very specific methods. If you'd like your maple cabinet doors stained, we strongly recommend hiring a professional to finish them for you, unless you're very experienced.
